We started in 2025 because we lived the problem. Our founder, Lawrence Tang, ran a small import business and saw shipments delayed by slow payments, unclear fees and poor exchange rates. Our co-founder, Adrin Manohar, grew up moving between India, Singapore and Indonesia and watched his family face the same costs. Southeast Asia is one region, but each country has its own payment and compliance systems. That pushes almost every transaction through banks and SWIFT, which means FX spreads and settlement delays. Money Pasar fixes this by matching payment flows between businesses so that funds move locally on both sides. That cuts cost, speeds up settlement and removes middlemen.
