Chong Wai Yin is currently Director, Enterprise Development Division (GoBusiness) at the Ministry of Trade and Industry.
Prior to her current role, she was heading up the Product Innovation by Experience team at the Economic Development Board (EDB) and was also overseeing the local leadership portfolio in the Industry Manpower Development division. She has spent eight years supporting the efforts around digital transformation of incentive processes and client interfaces, tapping on her design thinking skills to create solutions for EDB officers and clients. Wai Yin started out her career in EDB in the Logistics cluster, and subsequently in Customer Experience Management and Business Environment, lending her expertise in supporting EDB’s marketing and sales objectives and optimising the cost to serve customers.
