Julian Tang is the Founder and Managing Director of Ernest & Kin, a Singapore-based science and technology communications consultancy working across Asia-Pacific and the Middle East. Trained as a scientist, Julian holds a PhD in Medicine and Health Sciences and has spent his career helping organisations move beyond superficial reporting towards evidence-led, credible narratives.

He advises universities, research institutes, startups and innovation-led businesses on impact reporting, strategic communications and stakeholder engagement—particularly where trust, accountability and long-term value matter. 

Julian is the author of multiple whitepapers on science communication and impact reporting and is a frequent speaker and workshop facilitator for senior leaders. His work focuses on clarity over hype, outcomes over outputs and making impact understandable, believable and usable.
